Maybe Tapper can do an expose of FDR next and tell us all about how he was protected by his inner circle so that no one would know he was stricken with polio and unable to walk at all during most of his presidency, and then we won’t have to worry our pretty little heads about habeas corpus or jets falling off of aircraft carriers, or having a president who is idiotic, irrational and corrupt in the here and now.
That passage from Tapper's book just sounds like people trying to ensure Biden got enough rest and wasn't pushed to the limit physically because he was obviously old -- not demented and unable to serve. We did the same thing with my grandfather. His mind was whip sharp but his body couldn't keep up so we made him slow down. Joe Biden's only crime is getting old just like Tapper will. And because I'm younger than him, I can't wait to point my finger and laugh at him when he's caught on camera needing more time getting out of a car or speaking more slowly on air.
