I enjoy your newsletter. I'm waiting for you to have that "ah-ha" moment. Put aside Hamas. Put aside antisemitism. Answer a very, very simple question. Should a U.S. bomb ever be dropped on someone's home without a clear threat from a terrorist inside? With over 221,000 units destroyed, can you argue that Israel has been punishing an entire population for the actions of smaller group? Look at the videos of all the destruction. It's worse than Dresden because at least in Dresden people could flee to other parts of Germany. Yes, 9 out of 10 of those kids have immature political ideas. But they know mass destruction and murder when they see it. They understand there is NO EXCUSE for it. Older people like us get cynical and believe there is. Is there?

We are complicit and funding the destruction of 1 million people's homes. Many have died and are continuing to die. For what? What possible thing could a child do to deserve that?

I think both sides of the protesters have half a point. But, if these kids knew what was good for them they would have huge protests against the Trump candidacy and the Supreme Court. They have taken more of their rights away than Hamas or Israel ever will. The protesters should realize that if Trump gets elected they will be beaten and jailed within 15 minutes of opening their mouths. It won't be pretty, and the MAGA folks are itching to do it.
