It is great to watch these young guys play. I had my doubts about Alcaraz too. Sinner was on fire before and since the Australian Open. It is tennis at its best. These guys are in their early 20's. What I like about both of them is their humility and sincerity. As several former pros (McEnroe being one) have said, Carlitos is the best all around player for his age that they have ever seen. I go back to the McEnroe-Borg days. I used to play in high school and after through the 1980's and 90's.
Thank you! One of the greatest players to have ever stepped onto a tennis court. Federer is also the quintessential gentleman. One of the last of the great one handed backhands.
I was born in SF and grew up watching Giants games, and we spent many a freezing summer day watching them live at the old Candlestick Park. It was only many years later, when I moved to Denver in my 30s, that they started getting in the World Series and winning. It makes me feel more at home knowing someone besides my Dad (who is still in SF) watches Giants games obsessively and knows every statistic about the team. We both still root for the 49ers and believe, possibly incorrectly, that they are within a couple years of winning a Super Bowl. I don't watch college basketball much and know nothing about brackets, and I'm bad at math. So perhaps I should fill out a bracket this year. Thanks for another great read, as usual. I don't have a bidet but now I'm going to go get one since you reminded me of it.
I for one love the bidet attachment my sister got me for Christmas during Covid. Although we never did hoard or run out of TP during that period. Adoption seems low with the hubs who’s moved onto dark chonies.
Did not watch the Oscars from the start but tuned in at exactly Kimmels set up and punchline landed. And there was much laughter in the land.
You are missing one of the major sports phenomena of our time by not watching men's pro tennis. Alcaraz is truly a marvel as is Jannick Sinner and a few others.

Here's your personal nextdraft for the day.

I wrote that I do watch tennis, even non majors
My bad I must had misread it.
It is a great rivalry in the making. I was surprised Carlos won in Palm Springs. Sinner was unstoppable for weeks.
