Am I really the only person who liked what I've now learned is called a "score bug." Albeit I really didn't care about anything once my hometown Lions lost, but it definitely was nowhere as offensive as 99% of changes ever made to MLB's graphics.
Also, if we're talking about sports graphics, can hockey bring back the light-up pucks of the 90s that x-Ray visioned when they were off camera because of the boards? This was peak sports broadcast technology IMO.
On one of the Buffalo Bills fan sites of which I am a member, there was a serious discussion of how BUF would have fared against PHI. The consensus was that BUF would have lost, perhaps not as badly as KC, but definitely lost. PHI was the best team this year.
I don't know how you manage to produce such (mostly) useful and (nearly always) interesting material every day. I'm reluctant to comment or criticise but ....
Criticism - you didn't mention that there was a small brief protest during the half time show when someone (brave) unveiled a flag supporting Sudan and Gaza - both places in which thousands of civilians have been murdered by people armed by the west.
Comment - I can't figure out the appeal of American football. Watched a couple of rugby internationals at the weekend and the contrast is stark. American is uber-hierarchical with nobody allowed to think except the quarterback. It is so ritualised that there is almost never a novel move but instead the competition determines who does the running/hitting/blocking best - but all relying on the throwing arm of the man in charge. And each 'episode' is shorter than a typical TV advert. By contrast rugby gives all players the opportunity to shine in almost all aspects of the game. True the out half if a bit like a quarterback - often calling the moves and usually being pivotal in them. But every player may carry, throw or kick the ball and since the ball can be in play for a few minutes at a time most of the moves have to be improvised - albeit from a menu rehearsed in training. BTW - I'm no rugby fan - soccer is my game (i.e. football where everyone uses their feet on the ball!)
Really, Dave?! Don't be hating on our Eagles! I'm really surprised that you, of all people, can't appreciate the Eagles for being this generation's working man's team. It is damned tough out there, and Philly is all about grit and determination and hard work, setting aside ego to get the job done as a team. Go listen again to the post game interviews from Siriani, Jalen Hurts, and Saquon Barkley. If America could get their act together and play like an actual team with those values they spoke about like the Eagles did last night, we might fight our way back from tyranny. Then, listen again to Mahomes pre game interview: "We're gonna go out there and be who we are" ??? Nah. That's ego. That's arrogance. That's not playing like a team. It's self congratulatory nonsense. It's funny how when you get that MAGA stuff in your brain, it rots you from the inside out. There were some great lessons for humanity out there. I for one was celebrating them.
Lessons for humanity, are you kidding. Defence won for your beloved Eagles that and incisive attack on the back of it. I think that clear and I do not follow NFL much. What I do understand is that political systems have evolved out of historical context and much sacrifice. I think If I were you I would be more worried about the defence of your democracy and the rule of law. In context you have a person who gives Nazi salutes to the world in charge of your treasury, a person of colour selling “Swazis” (someone please show that person the black and white images of Hitler cold shouldering Jesse Owen’s) a President who wants to turn Gaza into a resort at the willing and support of the Jewish state; and general ongoing threat and bully diplomacy to the rest of the world as “mode of operation now” if you please. The whole things beyond ironic it strikes me psychotic. What’s there to like about America anymore?

Why don't you have a podcast! I would subscribe 100%.

I’m a Phillyfilly so it was a great game. BUT…
Half time sucked
The commercials were completely boring, hackneyed, trite and forgettable
Now that it’s over, I can go back to hating football
Oh you missed "Love Hurts!"
And also I think those 300 plus pound 6'6" linemen may have really been the cause of those errant throws.
But I don’t love hurts!

Not from there.
