I really hate to "bothsides" this, because Stephen Miller is a loathsome bottom feeder. He thinks he's a big man because he's willing to put little kids in cages and then forget where he put their parents. I don't think he really hates them; I think he just doesn't give a shit. He's a perfect fit for the SS.

But Moran had to know MAGA's full-court press would focus on a professional journalist who said bad things about their gang leaders. (Of course he might have expected the network to stick up for him, but again how could he not have been aware of the way the wind was blowing?) And IT IS unprofessional for reporters to dump on the people they're covering. I was a journalist at (ahem) a slightly lower level. I knew all journalists had their own opinions, and I also knew we weren't supposed to air them in public. Moran handed Miller a bat to beat him with.

"Protest, yes. But why pick on Waymos?"

They were apparently summoned for use as a Trojan horse of sorts: called to one of the areas where the ICE raids were happening, and then set ablaze. So: guerrilla warfare, 2025 Cali style I guess?

Dave Pell is obviously on one side of this discussion, trying to sound middle of the road. There are mountains of evidence to contradict him. The so called Jan 6 Insurrection happened because Nancy Pelosi and the mayor of Washington DC failed to provide the security that was requested by Pres Trump. In addition, there were non Trump elements in the crowd provoking an insurrection. The violent riots during George Floyd and now the LA ICE riots were organized and funded by anti American/Trump organizations/persons. Rioters were/are getting paid and supplies were shipped in by the organizers. There is plenty of evidence to support for it. Another contrbuting factor is a lack of respect for law and order. Why is it that during some demonstrations across the country people show respect for police, while in other areas, such as big democrat controlled cities, the immediate reation is rioting and confronting the police? Why does the mayor of LA and the California Gov. do nothing to curb the violence, arson, looting and assault on police officers. Why didn't Tim Walz do anything in Minneapolis during George Floyd riots? Why didn't the mayor of Portland do nothing during George Floyd in 2020, while rioters burned a Federal Building and took over a police precinct in both Minneapolis and Portland? Why were there orders from Democratic Mayors and Govenors telling police to stand down? As you can see, this side of the story was avoided. Pres Trump isn't perfect, but is finding ways to get things done legally. If Democrats stopped filing lawsuits against everything Trump is doing, he wouldn' have to use "national emergencies" to get the things done; things he was elected to do. Biden screwed up so many things in our country that now Trump and the American people have to fix

Why Waymos? From their Waymo One Help info:

“We may share certain data with law enforcement as needed to comply with legal requirements, enforce agreements, and protect the safety of you and others. Law enforcement agencies that seek information and data from Waymo are directed to follow valid legal processes in making such requests.”

Property damage is also often used in protests where the authorities are attacking people. No people are hurt when a driverless car is damaged.
