One thing that has been lost in some of the reporting is that the Trump Administration also agreed to work on controlling US gun shipments to Mexico. This wasn’t mentioned in their press announcements because it cuts against their strong man, good guy with a gun image, but this is part of the agreement. More than 70% of the guns recovered at crime scenes in Mexico come from the U.S. and the Dems have been trying to do something to stop this for years. We have been fueling the violence and instability that is causing people to want to cross the border.
