Hi Dave, I've followed you for many years. This is not related to your post, 'Oh, It's On!' Rather to draw your attention to a situation of SMS insider election interference.

A complaint has been filed by Bill Peters against Kaleyra the owners of TCR (The Campaign Registry). TCR controls all application-to-person SMS messages in the US, e.g. SMS alerts, notifications and messages from businesses, government and political campaigns.

In the complaint are specific claims of election interference, Kari Lake’s campaign in particular, and recorded discussions between TCR and a national US carrier planning election campaign interference.

From this post you can access the complaint, https://alanquayle.com/2023/09/william-peters-plaintiff-versus-kaleyra-defendant/, as well as background analysis on the issues with TCR, Kaleyra, and the US SMS ecosystem. I also posted it on Linkedin, https://www.linkedin.com/posts/alanquayle_major-william-peters-plaintiff-versus-kaleyra-activity-7112505790552256513-aBgo

It is a telecom technology topic, so complex and boring, so no worries if it's not a good fit. I hope you consider this situation worth mentioning given the threat to the fairness of the US election next year. All political communication should be treated equally by the network, no matter how wacky ;)
