Neal Katyal’s essay describes ongoing and likely future election interference as if nothing has been done to combat it. While he rightfully says that the best way to win, ultimately, is by voting down ballot, everyone should keep up with Mark Elias and the Democracy Docket which plays a major role in fighting these efforts and preserving our right to vote. I wouldn’t quite call this handwringing but the idea that Trumpers are not being met, and often defeated on the front lines of the battle is pernicious and fuels unnecessary handwringing at a time when resolve is needed.
